As the weather warms up this is the perfect time for a nice drive up to Mandurah for fish and chips on the water for lunch.

We will start the day of with morning tea in Capel, then on to Nannup, keeping our eye out in the bush land to see if we can spot the elusive Nannup Tiger. Ha ha! Lunch will be at the Nannup Hotel.
Today we are off for a sunny drive to Busselton for morning tea at the jetty where we can enjoy the ocean views, then on to Dunsborough for lunch at the very popular tavern. We will have a scenic coastal drive before heading home.
After having a look at the water level of Wellington Dam, we will have morning tea in the picnic area, then drive on through the beautiful forest, to Wellington Mills Food and Wine restaurant for lunch. The menu is limited, showcasing local foods.
We will take the scenic route to Busselton via the old Ludlow Road, bringing us out in the Tuart Forrest on the way to Wonnerup. Morning tea will be undercover at the jetty, then to the ArtGeo Cultural complex, showcasing arts, crafts and more. Lunch will follow at the Ship Inn.
Today we will visit the annual Blooming. Art exhibition at the art gallery, showcasing floral art displays. Please bring a gold coin donation. Lunch will follow at the Highway Hotel.
We will try our luck with the Spring weather having a day at Harvey Dam. We will set up BOCCI and bowls, nice strolls around the pathways and gardens followed by a sausage sizzle lunch. We will have a plan B in case the weather is not kind.

Toady we are off to Margaret River to the Eagles Heritage Raptor Wildlife Centre. We will have morning tea at the lovely Eagles centre and see the show with these wonderful birds putting on a performance.

Clients from Leschenault, Morrissey Centres will be participating in the annual Live Lighter Aged Care Games. We will be entering two teams in this fantastic, friendly, yet competitive day, where we will play against clients from other services in the greater Bunbury area. Morning tea and lunch will be provided by the Morrissey kitchen and had as a picnic at the venue. Clients who remain at Morrissey will have a round robin games day, joining in the fun with tailored games and prizes.
Fun Filled Day with a variety of sports including Netball, AFL, lawn bowls. Morrissey will provide Lunch and drinks.

Our cooking class is back for the month of March. Each Tuesday afternoon we will be preparing and cooking a “Dinner Time Meal”. Be sure to get your name down if you would like to attend as numbers are limited.

Tonight we are off to watch the Live Harness Pacing at the Bunbury Trotting Club. Bring along a rug and a jumper for the cooler night.
Today we will stay local and head to various locations around Bunbury for the Action Sports Games. From Wake Boarders, BMX, Motocross riders and lots more. Remember a hat to keep that sun away.

With the weather still staying warm we will head to Wellington Dam and cook ourselves a BBQ lunch. Sausages, cool drink, salad. Having a nice walk around the dam after lunch. Don’t forget to bring your hats.
This morning we will be using our fishing skills down at the Collie inlet in Australind, while having morning tea. Afterwards we will pack up and head over to Benesse’ for a yummy lunch.

Starting new this year, once every 3 months will be our pool competition. Anyone can put their name down for this. The competition will start straight after morning tea, MONDAY 12th February, there is no cost. The winner will receive a prize, presented at the end of games. So get your cues out and get some practice in to see if you could be the lucky winner.
All through February we will be enjoying our swimming in the ocean at Koombana Bay. Heading down to the beach where we will enjoy some beach volleyball, followed by a cool down swim. Bring along $5 for an ice cream or milkshake.

Today we will drive along the Leschenault Inlet and have our morning tea at the BP park in Australind. Continuing on down Cathedral Avenue to view the countryside. For lunch we will head over to LaRocco Café in Treendale Shopping Centre.
For our last outing of the month we will take the scenic route, via Donnybrook & Capel down to Busselton for lunch at the Esplanade Hotel. After our lunch, if time allows we may be able to have a look in one of the selected shopping centres, then off home via Ludlow South road through the derelict little ghost town that was Ludlow.
We will be off for a drive up to Cicerellos today. Sitting alongside the sparkling foreshore whilst enjoying a yummy meal. Morning tea and a toilet stop along the way.
Staying local today we will head over to Marlston Hill where we sit by the waterside to have lunch at Aristos. Morning tea beforehand at the Koombana Bay Foreshore.
Green Jade Restaurant, in South Bunbury, is where we will enjoy some Asian food for lunch. Morning tea at the port park. If we have time we can pop into Kmart and have a look.
With the beautiful weather still with us why not take a drive down south, stopping for morning tea along the way. Lunch will be at the Kirup Tavern.
Stopping today at the refreshed Koombana Bay. Maybe spot a dolphin. We will then head across to the Back Beach Café for a special meal and dessert.
Every Thursday starting 1st February we will be off to the Ten Pin Bowling Alley for another year of friendly, yet competitive bowling. The results this year will be tallied up, and the winner with the highest score will receive a prize at the end of the bowling year.
