Today we will head to Grand Cinema Bunbury to enjoy a movie then lunch at The Mash Brewery on the Marlston Waterfront.

We will head out to Waroona stopping on route for morning tea, then continuing on to the Waroona Hotel for a yummy pub lunch.

Today we will head to Mandurah for some Christmas Shopping. We will stop on the way for morning tea and buy lunch at the new Food Hall in the Mandurah Forum.

After a leisurely walk around the Crooked Brook nature reserve and morning tea, we will head back into Bunbury for a fish and chip lunch at Ariston. We will also be able to have a look in the Taffy shop and purchase some home made sweets.

Today we have a look at the small specialty shops in Boyanup including the Gingerbread house, quirky den and rustic French. Lunch will follow at the Bull and Bush Hotel.

As the weather warms up this is the perfect time for a nice drive up to Mandurah for fish and chips on the water for lunch.

Morning tea will be at the picturesque Harvey Dam, then a drive through Yarloop where we can see just how much rebuilding has taken place since the big 2016 fire, then on to Pinjarra Hotel for lunch.

Today we are off to Brunswick for a leisurely morning tea under the big tree by the river. Lunch will be at the refurbished Brunswick Tavern.

Back by popular demand this month is the lunch at the Crooked Carrot. We will stop for morning tea along the Eaton foreshore and have a nice drive along Cathedral Avenue to see the swans and kangaroos.

Bridgetown is our destination for this Fridays outing. We will stop in Donnybrook for morning tea then a lovely country drive through Balingup on to Bridgetown.

After having a look at the water level of Wellington Dam, we will have morning tea in the picnic area, then drive on through the beautiful forest, to Wellington Mills Food and Wine restaurant for lunch. The menu is limited, showcasing local foods.

We will take the scenic route to Busselton via the old Ludlow Road, bringing us out in the Tuart Forrest on the way to Wonnerup. Morning tea will be undercover at the jetty, then to the ArtGeo Cultural complex, showcasing arts, crafts and more. Lunch will follow at the Ship Inn.

Today we will visit the annual Blooming. Art exhibition at the art gallery, showcasing floral art displays. Please bring a gold coin donation. Lunch will follow at the Highway Hotel.

We will try our luck with the Spring weather having a day at Harvey Dam. We will set up BOCCI and bowls, nice strolls around the pathways and gardens followed by a sausage sizzle lunch. We will have a plan B in case the weather is not kind.

We will be heading down to the small country town of Kirup to enjoy a yummy lunch at the sweet little Café Lady Marmalade.

Lets take a look though the newly refurbished Collie Art Museum and hopefully with the weather giving us a lovely sunny day we will enjoy a picnic lunch at the beautiful and tranquil Minninup Pool on the grass under the shady trees. Don’t forget to pack a jacket in case weather isn’t friendly.

We are heading o Golden Valley Tree Park Balingup to experience a collection of tees that begun over one hundred years ago. We will take a stroll through the trees or stay in the bus for a scenic drive. We will have lunch at Balingup Rib and Steak.

Today we will stay close to home and enjoy a lovely warm lunch at Dardanup Tavern. Stopping for morning tea along the way on our travels.

Morrissey will provide a delicious morning tea at the bowling alley, then we will have a friendly competitive set of games. After bowling we will go across the road to the Forum for a look through the shops and then decide on a venue for lunch.

Toady we are off to Margaret River to the Eagles Heritage Raptor Wildlife Centre. We will have morning tea at the lovely Eagles centre and see the show with these wonderful birds putting on a performance.

Out first outing for the month is heading to Paradise for a evening of music and fun with a live band. Have on your sensible dancing shoes and some warm clothes.

Come dressed in your ‘Onsies’ and have a fun day at Leschenault Centre. We will have a great day of fun, games and dancing. Morning tea will be provided and we will make delicious Quiche and salad and home made dessert for lunch.

Morning tea today will be in Busselton on the foreshore, then after a scenic drive around Busselton, we will amble our way to Dunsborough to Three Bears Bar.

Today we will firstly nip into Brunswick Junction for morning tea then continue on our road trip around and up to Collie to the Old Railway Station for a good old fashioned lunch.

Tonight we are having a Movie/ Dress up sleep over at MDC. Come dressed as your favourite movie character. Bring your pillow, sleeping bag, toiletries and some movies. We will cook up some pizzas for dinner and enjoy some popcorn during the movie.

Stopping for morning tea at the Caltex service station, before heading up to Mandurah to see who can get through the maze at the Miniature Park. We will head across the road to Decadent C’s for some lunch. Bring a rain coat in case the weather isn’t friendly.

Stopping for morning tea before heading South to the Yallingup Shearing Shed where we will enjoy feeding the sheep and checking out the old shearing sheds. We will enjoy sandwiches whilst there, supplied by our Morrissey Kitchen.

Tonight we will head off to the Quit Bunbury Speedway. Bring along a rug, a nice warm jumper and raincoat.

We will enjoy our morning tea at Koombana Bay. Then we are going to have some FUN at the new Time Zone. Sandwiches will be supplied for lunch.

Weather permitting today we will enjoy a cuppa and muffin for morning tea along the old coast road Jetty. For lunch we will head over to the popular Melo Velo Café situated in the main street of Bunbury. A stroll down the street to finish the day.

Heading down to Mandurah today to enjoy a yummy lunch at The Silk Thai Restaurant. We will be stopping for morning tea along the way at the new Caltex Fuel Station.

We are off to the annual Bunbury Show, where we will be part of the fanfare with exhibitions and side show alley. Our snacks and lunch will be purchased from one of the food vendors at the show. There is no entry fee into the show

Today we will take a leisurely drive up to Mandurah, stopping for Morning Tea along the way. We will have a look through some of the brand new shops before heading over to the newly refreshed food court for lunch.

Lets head up to Mandurah today, to have a cruise around and hopefully we will see the new baby dolphins. We will have a toilet stop and morning tea along the way. Arriving for our 1pm cruise where we sit back and enjoy fish and chips aboard.

With the weather changing we will have morning tea opposite Crystal, Old Coast Rd, then we will have a morning of shopping and looking around the Eaton Fair Shopping Centre before heading over to the Eaton Tavern for a delicious lunch.

We are heading to Harvey today to enjoy morning tea in the beautiful garden at the Internment Camp Memorial Shine. With a walk around and reading the history which began in WWII. We will then head over to the Stirling Cottage where we can enjoy a lovely lunch

Our first outing for the month is to St Aiden Wines, Ferguson Valley. We will enjoy our morning tea by the water at Dalyellup beach before heading across to enjoy our lunch.

Today we will enjoy morning tea on the waterfront opposite the cinemas, before heading over to watch a movie of our choice. Lunch will be at The Rose Hotel.

Today we will enjoy the whole day up in Perth. Stopping along the way for morning tea and toilet. We will view the beauty of the swan river as we cross over to the Casino. Hopefully getting a glance of the new Perth Stadium

Clients from Leschenault, Morrissey Centres will be participating in the annual Live Lighter Aged Care Games. We will be entering two teams in this fantastic, friendly, yet competitive day, where we will play against clients from other services in the greater Bunbury area. Morning tea and lunch will be provided by the Morrissey kitchen and had as a picnic at the venue. Clients who remain at Morrissey will have a round robin games day, joining in the fun with tailored games and prizes.

Fun Filled Day with a variety of sports including Netball, AFL, lawn bowls. Morrissey will provide Lunch and drinks.

Our cooking class is back for the month of March. Each Tuesday afternoon we will be preparing and cooking a “Dinner Time Meal”. Be sure to get your name down if you would like to attend as numbers are limited.

Tonight we are off to watch the Live Harness Pacing at the Bunbury Trotting Club. Bring along a rug and a jumper for the cooler night.

Today we will stay local and head to various locations around Bunbury for the Action Sports Games. From Wake Boarders, BMX, Motocross riders and lots more. Remember a hat to keep that sun away.

Today we will head to Capel to check out the Capel Cheese Factory. We will then have lunch at the nearby Capelberry Café, where they offer a All Day Lunch Menu.

Today we will stop in the morning and have a cuppa at Capel before heading down to have a look at beautiful Meelup beach. We wont be having a swim but with the warmer weather still upon us we can “ dip our toes in the cooling water”. After perusing the coast, we will go back to Dunsborough Tavern for lunch.

Driving up the hill to Collie today to Harris River Estate to enjoy a yummy lunch and maybe a taste of wine. The scenery is the perfect place to sit and relax and chat with friends.

With the weather still staying warm we will head to Wellington Dam and cook ourselves a BBQ lunch. Sausages, cool drink, salad. Having a nice walk around the dam after lunch. Don’t forget to bring your hats.

This morning we will be using our fishing skills down at the Collie inlet in Australind, while having morning tea. Afterwards we will pack up and head over to Benesse’ for a yummy lunch.

Today we are off for a scenic drive down to Dardanup where we will stop for our morning tea. After we will make our way back for lunch at The Parks Tavern & Restaurant.

Starting new this year, once every 3 months will be our pool competition. Anyone can put their name down for this. If you would like to play and are not here on that day, give the office a call on 9725 4699 to see what can be arranged. The competition will start straight after morning tea, MONDAY 12th February, there is no cost. The winner will receive a prize, presented at the end of games. So get your cues out and get some practice in to see if you could be the lucky winner.

All through February we will be enjoying our swimming in the ocean at Koombana Bay. Heading down to the beach where we will enjoy some beach volleyball, followed by a cool down swim. Bring along $5 for an ice cream or milkshake.

Lets finish off this month with a day out at ADVENTURE WORLD. Water slides, rides, sunshine. Bring your bathers, towel, spare clothes and SUNSCREEN.

Today we will drive along the Leschenault Inlet and have our morning tea at the BP park in Australind. Continuing on down Cathedral Avenue to view the countryside. For lunch we will head over to LaRocco Café in Treendale Shopping Centre.

For our last outing of the month we will take the scenic route, via Donnybrook & Capel down to Busselton for lunch at the Esplanade Hotel. After our lunch, if time allows we may be able to have a look in one of the selected shopping centres, then off home via Ludlow South road through the derelict little ghost town that was Ludlow.

We will be off for a drive up to Cicerellos today. Sitting alongside the sparkling foreshore whilst enjoying a yummy meal. Morning tea and a toilet stop along the way.

Staying local today we will head over to Marlston Hill where we sit by the waterside to have lunch at Aristos. Morning tea beforehand at the Koombana Bay Foreshore.

Green Jade Restaurant, in South Bunbury, is where we will enjoy some Asian food for lunch. Morning tea at the port park. If we have time we can pop into Kmart and have a look.

With the beautiful weather still with us why not take a drive down south, stopping for morning tea along the way. Lunch will be at the Kirup Tavern.

Stopping today at the refreshed Koombana Bay. Maybe spot a dolphin. We will then head across to the Back Beach Café for a special meal and dessert.

Every Thursday starting 1st February we will be off to the Ten Pin Bowling Alley for another year of friendly, yet competitive bowling. The results this year will be tallied up, and the winner with the highest score will receive a prize at the end of the bowling year.
The cost for bowling is $6 which will be collected in the morning. Please bring along your correct money. Thankyou
